The Rusanen laundry production line and folding machines

We wash in our own laundries.

We rent textiles out, we sell them outright, and we wash both ourselves. Our laundries are in Kerava, Helsinki and Raahe.

Services

Rental, sales and washing.

You can rent textiles from us, buy them outright, or bring us your own textiles to wash. These do not rule each other out, and many of our customers use two or all three.

01 · Rental

Rent from us

We source the textiles, deliver them as agreed, wash and repair them, and replace worn items with new ones.

02 · Sales

Buy them outright

We sell bed linen, pillows and duvets as well as workwear directly. The textiles are yours.

03 · Washing

Bring us your own

We also wash and maintain textiles you have bought yourself or sourced elsewhere.

Three laundries of our own.

The laundries are in Kerava, Helsinki and Raahe. From there we serve a wide area, from Southern Finland up to Lapland. If your site is not on the map, ask anyway.

Our largest unit and head office

The Kerava laundry is the largest unit we run. Large volumes of bed linen and workwear are handled by machine here, and the production line is sized for the daily volumes of chain customers.

The Kerava head office serves business customers only. Customer service, sales and invoicing all work from here.

02 · Laundry

Helsinki.

The oldest laundry in Helsinki, since 1930

Our laundry in Vartioharju is the oldest in Helsinki and has been running since 1930. It serves restaurants, hotels, embassies and companies.

We maintain the textiles ourselves in our own production, with no subcontracting. In summer 2026 we invested in new washing and finishing equipment, and chemical emulsion cleaning came into use at the same time.

Washing methods

The right wash for every textile.

We use three washing methods. The method is chosen according to the material and how the textile is used. The service is available to all our customers whichever laundry serves them: we move textiles between our units in our own vehicles when the work belongs to another laundry. We maintain the textiles ourselves in our own production, with no subcontracting.

01 · Method

Dry cleaning

Dry cleaning suits delicate textiles and materials that do not tolerate ordinary water washing. Instead of water, the process uses a cleaning solvent chosen for the textile, which lifts grease and oil-based soiling while preserving the shape, colour and properties of the garment.

Suits for example:

  • suits and suit jackets
  • blazers and skirt suits
  • overcoats
  • evening and formal wear
  • wool garments
  • silk and other delicate materials
  • ties
  • structured and shaped garments
02 · Method

Water washing

Water washing is the traditional method, where textiles are washed with water and detergents chosen for the purpose. The programme, temperature and detergents are selected according to the material and how the textile is used.

Suits for example:

  • bed linen and bedding
  • towels
  • tablecloths and napkins
  • shirts and T-shirts
  • workwear
  • cotton and polyester textiles
  • hotel and restaurant textiles
03 · Method

Wet cleaning

Wet cleaning is a professional, gentle water-based method for textiles that need particular care. Closely controlled water volume, detergents, mechanical action and drying keep the process gentle even on delicate materials.

Suits for example:

  • wool garments and knitwear
  • coats and outerwear
  • suits and jackets depending on the material
  • dresses and formal textiles
  • silk and viscose textiles
  • textiles whose shape and surface need gentle handling
